Detroit felt like a ghost town last Sunday, only exaggerated by the giant ZOMBIELAND written atop an abandoned building across the freeway. As of late Detroit has been full of people and commotion. With Transformers 4 being filmed here and our own mini Tokyo in the midst of our city, it is quite the tourist attraction! Movie stars and movie sets! Detroit needs this, it's a party for everyone! I've always loved drowning in huge t-shirts. I'm in love with the simple black and white, and the noir written on it. I added the red fringe Zara sandals to add some flash. I'm really loving red lips, red shoes and red nails now! Pop pop pop!!!

Sheer Heart Attack

This is my absolute favorite dress I have ever found thrift shopping. 

For $8 it was a little pricey for my taste at a thrift store, but it fit like a glove so I couldn't resist.

The lattice cut outs are so amazing. The sheer flowy fabric give it that sexy 70's vibe I always love.

I feel like Jerry Hall when I wear this dress. 

You can also dress it down with over the knee socks and flat shoes or boots as well.

I've worn it that way too. 

Ad a belt and over the knee boots for a Anita Pallenberg feel!

Comfortable and sexy. 

So many different looks from one beautiful dress.

Summer is here and it feels amazing! Feeling the sunshine on my skin is what I live for. 

I'm so excited for longer days and beach days on Belle Isle!

 I wish the weather could stay like this forever.

Celestial Horsey

Well, there have been little spurts of spring weather here and there.

On one of these spurts, mr, Tom and I went for a ride all through the streets of Detroit.

What did we notice...

Man, Detroit is getting covered in graffiti art.

I don't mind though, I like it. 

I like the gritty feel of it, and always wonder how they get up in those weird places.

Seriously, how do they do it?

On to what I've been wearing... 

I have been wanting clothing with celestial space skies for quite some time.

I finally found it in this perfect little swingy skirt.

To make it even better, it has celestial horseys flying through the celestial skies!

Bonus!!!

Paired it with a my fave old army lookin cut off sleeve top and I'm good to go!

I'm a sucker for chambray. Especially vintage and especially if it has colorful stitching. 

this one has a palm tree and parrot on it! 

Deep down I guess I just love one of a kind vintage pieces the most. 

I love finding a gem and knowing that no one else is going to have the same thing.

I forgot about these Jeffrey Campbells I got a couple of years ago, on sale on the Urban Outfitters website. I think I got them for 20$ or so, such a steal!

On another note I'm going to go see Jesus and Mary Chain on Saturday! 

Don't be too jelly, but it's gonna be awesome!

It feels good getting our creative juices flowing again.

This dress is perfect for summer. I see me wearing it with boots, heels, sneaker wedges when I finally get my paws on the perfect pair! I want some soooo bad.
